Welcome to the 3rd edition of the eJournal. All UAE Higher Education Federal Institutes have embraced iPads for their Foundation programs. The mobile learning initiative is creating an interplay between Pedagogy, Technology and Content, and is transforming teaching and learning environments. An early indication of the initiative’s success is demonstrated by the increased adoption of Challenge Based Learning and Flipped Classrooms among teachers. The mobile journey has begun and its impact can be felt as you read through the 3rd eJournal edition.
The 2nd edition of the eJournal contains articles from the major higher education institutes in the UAE. Included were project based articles that reflect various experiences of teachers and their valuable research. As always, the eJournal continued to try and be a platform for UAE educators and the training community to share experiences, strategies and research findings in the areas of Educational Technology and eLearning.
The 2009-2010 eJournal was the first edition to be published. This first issue of the journal dealt with the ICT implementation in different colleges within the UAE. Overall, it focused on college level Educational Technology and eLearning in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
